The aim of the MSc Ultrasound is to develop ultrasonographers who can respond to the dynamic needs of the profession, the health service and its users. To this end the programme will develop professional competencies by integrating the following domains: high level clinical skills specialist theoretical knowledge and advanced key skills. International applicants must have written agreement with a clinical ultrasound department to provide clinically supervised practice. This clinical experience must fulfill the programme requirements of a minimum of 3 months pre-course ultrasound practice and a minimum of 1000 hours clinical ultrasound practice during the programme.
