The Certificate in Arts (CertArts) is designed for you to study at university level without having to commit to several years of study. It is also an option if you want to take a few courses for interest, or study part-time. Study Involve: Study from a range of subjects which offer field trips, real-world case studies, projects, and more. Complete four standard courses of your choice at 100 and/or 200-level in no more than two subjects. This Certificate can be studied full-time in 6 months or part-time for up to 5 years. Can be used as a pathway to the Diploma in Arts or the Bachelor of Arts with the ability to transfer your credits to those degrees. Japan is one of the most influential nations in the Asia-Pacific region - culturally, economically, and diplomatically. The nation plays an important role in Aotearoa New Zealand’s economy and learning Japanese will be a great asset to your studies. Studies in Japanese involve more than just reading, writing, and speaking. It will also involve learning the culture and the impact it has on Aotearoa and the world. Study Involve: Become an expert in Japanese language, history, and culture. Exchange programmes with various universities throughout Japan including Waseda University, Bunkyo University, and Kwansei Gakuin University. Japanese can be studied as a major or minor in a range of bachelor's degrees, through a certificate or diploma in languages alone or alongside other studies, or as a single course.
