The PGDipArts is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours). You can choose from a wide range of Arts subjects and may be able to include a dissertation. This programme might be for you if you want to undertake advanced study without writing a dissertation, if honours degrees aren’t recognised in your country, or if you would like to study part-time over a longer period. Postgraduate study in English allows you to pursue your interests through coursework, extend your methodological skills, and pursue specialised research projects in literary studies, drama and theatre studies, cultural and critical theory, critical or creative writing. You can explore the intersections between literature and art, critical and creative practices.
