The BSc Applied Health and Social Care is a three-year full-time degree designed to prepare you for a wide range of roles across health, social care, community and third-sector services. You will learn how health and social care services work together, with a strong focus on person-centred practice, prevention, wellbeing and partnership working. You will develop your ability to understand complex issues, use evidence and think critically about practice. The course combines academic learning with practical and work-related activities. You will use real-world cases and develop skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork and professional practice. At Level 5, a placement module will give you the chance to build practical experience and workplace confidence. You will also develop research skills and learn how to apply your knowledge to real challenges in health and social care. The degree is designed to prepare you for graduate-level roles and further professional development.

If you are not from the UK and you do not already have residency here, you may need to apply for a visa.
For courses of more than six months duration you will require a Student visa.
International students who require a Student visa should apply for our full-time courses as these qualify for Student visa sponsorship.
