French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Russian can also be taken from advanced/post-A level.- Gain a high level of proficiency in reading, writing, understanding and speaking your selected languages, providing you with valued language skills of potential use for future careers.**If you wish to study a Beginners language from Year 1, you must spend your third year in the country of that language and therefore will need to apply for the 4-year variant.**
