Your modules fall into three groupings: interdisciplinary core module taken by all students, language and culture modules, and a specialism in the humanities or social sciences. The interdisciplinary core module involves gaining insights into a range of academic disciplines and engaging critically with competing analytical perspectives. You will undertake language study throughout the programme, selecting and focusing on one language. Some students also select a second (minor) language to study in their first and second years.
