South Thames College is delighted to partner with London Marathon Events to deliver this exciting industry-focused programme, designed to equip learners with the skills, knowledge and experience needed for a successful career in sports events management.Combining academic study with practical, real-world learning, the course gives learners unique access to industry expertise and hands-on experience. Through a structured programme with London Marathon Events, learners will gain valuable event experience, take part in professional practice sessions delivered by industry specialists, work on a live project brief and visit a major sports event, venue or headquarters location operated by London Marathon Events. Learners will also benefit from employability and progression workshops designed to support their transition into careers within the sports events industry.Developed with employer insight, the programme reflects the fast-moving world of major sports events and the skills needed to build a career in this exciting and evolving industry.
