One year to go from student to studio-ready.This one-year top-up is for games artists, designers, and developers who are ready to produce work at a professional standard. You'll choose a specialist pathway – art, design, or development – and spend the year building a portfolio that demonstrates the technical, creative, and collaborative skills that employers want to see.Games education at UCA is built around how studios actually work. You'll develop your specialism through advanced project work, culminating in your final major project and an end of year show. You'll work with industry-standard tools and pipelines, refine your portfolio with career-focused modules, and learn alongside students who bring varied backgrounds and perspectives to the studio.
