This program leverages the powerful resources of Duquesne University in Mathematics, Computer Science and Security Studies to meet the needs of students and of society at large.
Graduates may pursue careers as chief information security officer, forensic computer analyst, security architect, penetration tester, IT security engineer, security systems administrator, IT security consultant, and policy analyst, to name just a few.

To be considered for admission you must have graduated from a secondary school recognized as an acceptable equivalent to a U.S. high school and you must demonstrate a record of acceptable academic success. In general, undergraduate applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) for most majors.
