The College of Fine Arts and Communication Academic Advising Center provides students with advising on academic and administrative issues. Students are informed about matters related to academic majors and career possibilities, the selection of appropriate courses, and the choice of an education program leading to a Bachelor’s degree. The Advising Center is a resource for current students and for prospective students who are considering a major or minor in the College of Fine Arts and Communication.The Sound Recording Technology (SRT) program is the only one of its kind in the Southwest. It trains students to enter into the recording industry in various capacities. Potential careers include music producers, live sound technicians, post-production editors, and much more. Practical experience in audio recording under professional supervision. Provides the opportunity for students to demonstrate professional competencies, based on prior theoretical and laboratory experiences. Full major in SRT required.
