The Division of Engineering Programs at SUNY New Paltz is committed to academic excellence. We offer high-quality Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, all of which are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org. A minor in Engineering is also available, as is an accelerated program through which students may earn a BS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and a master's (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering in five years. Our mission, program educational objectives, and student outcomes aim towards the success of our students so that, when they graduate, they are able to obtain successful engineering jobs and/or graduate degrees from prestigious universities.
