STEM-classified degree: graduates are eligible for 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. This degree offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the university’s largest and most diverse college. Students in the Master of Science program in biochemistry with a concentration in medicinal chemistry in the School of Molecular Sciences are trained in the fundamental aspects of the discipline while joining transdisciplinary teams that work on larger, mission-based contemporary problems in areas such as: fundamental chemical biology, medicine and health and structure function and dynamics.
