Coaching and Mentoring, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

The Coaching and Mentoring Certificate is a 12 credit-hour graduate program designed to enhance the leadership qualities and skills of professionals who desire to effectively mentor and coach individuals in various settings.Grounded in the latest research in mentoring and coaching, the program provides graduate students (from any discipline) the opportunity to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to be effective mentors, mentees and coaches.The Coaching and Mentoring Certificate program will provide participants with a variety of diverse learning opportunities and hands-on experience as well as a field internship. Participants will learn about the principles of mentoring and coaching including how to apply various techniques and strategies, how to develop a coaching or mentoring program for implementation in your profession and how to assess the effectiveness of the coaching or mentoring program.
