This program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The Bachelor of Science program in economics with a concentration in politics and the economy serves students who wish to pursue careers in business, economic and political consulting, political science, law and government. In addition to economics coursework, the concentration requires courses that highlight the impact of government policies on the economy and the conditions under which government interventions may be warranted. Students take political science courses that provide a deep understanding of political processes and institutions, as well as methodologies for understanding the behavior relevant to them.
3.0 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.) Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
