The purpose of the graduate certificate in Business Analytics is to provide business and technology practitioners with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to collaborate in the design, development and adoption of BA applications in organizations. The motivation for this certificate comes from the growing demand for qualified BA professionals as reported by major information technology and business research and advisory firms. This certificate is awarded upon completion of the required coursework. Individuals may work on the certificate part-time without being formally enrolled in a degree program, or may complete it as part of the Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems or other programs if approved by their specific degree program.
