Graduate Certificate in Cultural Resource Management

The cultural resource management (CRM) certificate program is housed within the Department of History in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, offering a graduate-level 15-hour certificate designed to augment nearly any graduate degree at WVU, or it may be obtained independently by non-degree graduate students. We partner with other WVU units and community organizations to perform valuable service for the state and region. Our students and partners alike come from diverse backgrounds, with a variety of needs. Whether it is surveying a historic building or tracing community histories, our program is on the forefront of instruction and service in the world of cultural resource management. The program is designed to assist individuals wishing to pursue careers in historic preservation, museum management, art history, parks and recreation (including the National Park Service), design, and a variety of other related fields.
