Evaluate human behavior. This program includes foundational courses and closely supervised theoretical and laboratory-based experience. You'll propose and test explanations about human behavioral and biological and mental processes. And you'll have opportunities to apply your learning through fieldwork and internships in local health organizations. Our faculty mentors have expertise in behavioral health, neuroscience, and in a range of areas in psychology: clinical, cognitive, developmental, health, industrial/organizational, learning, and social.

Admission requirements Individual program admission requirements over and above admission to NAU are required. Essay/Letter of Intent/Personal Statement, Prerequisite Coursework Minimum of 18 units of psychology credit including the following: Introduction to Psychology Statistics Research Methods in Psychology. In some circumstances, Research Methods in Social/Behavioral Sciences may be accepted. Recommendation(s)/Reference(s), Resume or Curriculum Vitae. See the application for details.Applicants must have earned a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale to be considered for regular admission. Admitted students are expected to have undergraduate educational experiences, including general education studies, that are similar to those required for a baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. Applicants who have earned their degree(s) from an international institution must submit official transcripts directly from the university or college. The transcripts must be in the original language of the country accompanied by an English translation.
