The Business Analytics concentration blends business knowledge with the ability to extract, clean and analyze data. Many companies are collecting extraordinary amounts of data through operations.The ability to understand this data requires the combination of three skills: computer programming, statistics, and business.This concentration provides basic programming skills to work with data, statistics to understand it and modeling skills to determine what it means for a business.
The mission of the MBA program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is to prepare students to contribute significantly to organizational productivity through learning experiences, emphasizing the application of sound and innovative business techniques. By acquiring the knowledge and abilities necessary to be a problem solver who is influential, innovative, and socially responsible, the graduate of the UNO MBA program will be an effective leader in enhancing organizational capabilities.
