The Educational Psychology doctoral program provides balanced training in the scholarly and applied aspects of the field. In additional to foundational coursework, you can specialize in either Learning Sciences or Measurement, Statistics, and Research Methodology. You will learn to apply educational psychology research to educational practice, policy and teaching study and examine theories of psychological thought, student development and socialization in instructional settings and gain hands-on experience in research and college-level teaching. On graduation, you will be prepared for both teaching and research careers, primarily in colleges and universities, but also in school settings, testing firms, industry and research organizations.
