The PSM in Resilience Practice, a professional science master's program jointly administered by the Arizona Institute for Resilience (AIR) and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS), is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals with interdisciplinary skills to tackle complex sustainability, resilience, and adaptation challenges. This program leverages the knowledge of AIR's teaching and research faculty alongside experienced professionals from government agencies, nonprofits, and private sector organizations to provide current and practically applicable career training. Designed for flexibility and accessibility for current professionals or those aspiring to join the resilience workforce, this program offers 7.5 week courses, part-time or full time plans of study, in-person and online course options, and flexibility to complete the capstone project during the summer or academic year.
