STEM-classified degree: graduates are eligible for 3 years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the USA. This degree is taught by ASU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The faculty include 15 National Academy of Sciences members, 3 Pulitzer Prize winners and 2 Noble Prize winners. The Master of Science program in statistics draws upon a wide spectrum of faculty research and teaching interests, including from faculty outside the school. As a result, plans of study can be transdisciplinary and tailored to reflect students' individual needs and goals.
