Well, in Thailand, there are actually three seasons. First, there's the rainy season, which lasts a couple of months. We often get heavy rain, and unfortunately, some cities can be flooded. Next, we have winter, which is usually quite mild. The temperature will be around 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. And finally, summer, when the temperature can easily rise over 40 degrees Celsius, so it’s boiling hot!
"One of my favourites, and probably one of the most significant festivals in Thailand, is the Songkran Festival. It is widely known as the Splash Festival. Songkran usually takes place in April – the hottest month of the year. There are a large number of traditional activities, including merit-making, family gatherings, visiting temples, and most importantly, a giant water fight! If you go to the streets during this period, it is very likely that you will see people with water guns, buckets, and hoses, and they will be enjoying splashing each other. It is very nice and is something not to be missed."
